Region 1 Forest and Feast Event Recap

The crew

After a rain delay, Region 1 of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers successfully hosted a fantastic Forage and Feast event! This time, the weather was on our side, allowing the group to venture into the woods in search of mushrooms. With this year’s abundant mushroom season, participants enjoyed a fruitful foraging experience, collecting a variety of finds.

The haul

Following the foraging, everyone gathered to sample a spread of wild-inspired dishes, thoughtfully prepared by Region 1 board members. It was a perfect blend of adventure, great food, and camaraderie. Thank you to everyone who joined us—we look forward to more events like this in the future!
