Region 4 Pint Night with Salmo Watershed Streamkeepers Recap

Members of BC BHA and the community joined Salmo Watershed Streamkeepers Society at Erie Creek Brewery in Salmo to learn about the loss of salmon, a keystone species, and the functional plan to bring them back. Gerry Nellestijn, a founding member of the Salmo Watershed Streamkeepers Society who served as coordinator for over 20 years presented on Imagine Salmon. The vision and plan to return Salmon to the Upper Columbia River and Salmo River watersheds. In the spirit of conservation, a great evening was had by all and there is hope Salmon will one day return! Generous prize donations were provided by Stone Point Outdoors Gear, Black Pine Creative North and the BC Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers.
